"We would like to commend Karen for her accomplishments and for the direction in which she has guided CHP since helping initiate the organization in 1995," said Laura Plummer, Chairperson of CHP's Board of Directors. "Under Karen's leadership, CHP has grown from a one-person fledgling entity coordinating long-term health care for six individuals to what is now an organization employing nearly 600 staff and serving over 3,000 members in five counties. We sincerely thank Karen for her leadership and her countless contributions in guiding CHP to its many successes. We also welcome Paul as we seek to build on CHP's reputation as a regional leader in the delivery of long-term health care for the frail elderly and adults with physical or developmental disabilities. The Board believes Paul's expertise in building teams and delivering innovative approaches to CHP's member-focused health care delivery model will help propel the organization forward on its vision and mission."
